Seriously do we have any shot at a BCS bowl?

Even if its just a super slim shot if a bunch of teams lose? Logic tells me we will end up in a shite tier bowl like the gator or outback bowl

Too many SEC teams ahead of us, IMO. I would like to see us in the Cotton or Chick Fila bowl. Anything but the Outback. Been there too many times.

Me and my friend were thinking the same thing. Since the BCS seems to be out of the question the only 2 bowls we'd like to go to is the Cotton or Peach.

The Cotton is a high end non-BCS bowl and one we've never been to and would play a Big 12 opponent, which is rare.

I think win or lose to Clemson we end up in the Peach. Which I like, Atl. is close and its against an old ACC foe which we can beat.

11-2 with a couple more wins over ACC teams under our belt? I'm good with that season.

I'm pretty sure Arkansas would have to beat LSU, FSU would have to stomp UF, and UGA would have to be completely embarrassed in the SECCG, or lose to GT. If we're able muster a convincing win over Clemson, and those other teams look terrible, the polls may move us up just enough to be in consideration.

So basically, no.

We still have some substantial goals ahead IMO...beat CU, and finish strong with another bowl win, which has not been a regularity for Spurrier at USC or USC as a program overall. Becoming a perennial bowl game-winning team has always been a hope I've had....

If we win I don't see Chick Fil A because that's where Clemson will be headed.

A loss, yes, that's a lock because then I see Clemson in a BCS bowl
