I just think a gamer sucks up whatever ding he got and stays in the tie game with a bowl on the line. Call me old fashioned but I think a real competitor keeps his mouth shut and stays in.

Lets just be honest with ourselves for a minute. We are too pussy to actually put Pinkel on the hotseat going into next year and demand results. I dont even think Alden will ask him to make staff changes, and Pinkel will keep all of these dip****s because they will solely be chalked up to "injuries".

I think this. I think fans can support Franklin and are right for doing so. I think fans can support Mizzou needing to move away from Franklin and are right for doing so. I just don't understand having to attack someone because they don't have the same position I do.

Sure and end up like Mike Webster or scores of other old fashioned guys. Look I know it sucks for us old dudes but the concussion things and any head injury is serious and treated so by the staff. The staff took his helmet away.
