I recently joined the rant, and I hate to say it, but our board kinda resembles the Bad Apple.

It's like this with a few East teams. It's a predominately SEC West board. Georgia and Tennessee are the only ones with decent numbers. Missouri, as well.

Cockytalk has been around so long and been the "free site" for so long that it will be hard to compete with them for number of posters. It's already made a name for itself.
This SC board has only been here a month, so it will pick up steam as time goes by.
The same rules apply to all these free sites. To get posters to view/post more on this site we must:
-Post interesting topics to engage.
-Break new information quickly. (commits, stories, etc....)
-Have posters that others enjoy communicating with.
-Define a sense of leadership/direction.
-Establish a niche.
Cockytalk has a several thousand posters and many more lurkers. I wouldn't recommend going head to head, but I would say if you're looking to increase membership/postings then try to find a way to compliment Cockytalk...to do that find out a key difference b/w cockytalk and this board and then make it known.

That's true cause I hate reading message boards where all the curse words are filtered and you never really know exactly what that word was. I mean shite, let the people say what they want!
