I live in Memphis and was listening to the local sports radio station on my drive home. They had the director of the Liberty Bowl on and he was just raving on Missouri.
He still has the Kellen Winslow jersey from when Missouri played in the Liberty Bowl in 1978. Was naming off names like James Wilder, Eric Wright, and Johnnie Poe.
Said that Mizzou had traveled to Knoxville with over 9000 fans and he thought that was great. Said he is not counting Ole Miss out but if Missouri is bowl eligible and UT does not win it's last 2 games he would love to have Missouri.
That would be a great NYE for me. Liberty Bowl then Rafferts downtown !!!

That would be awesome! I think we'd represent very well in Memphis.
And I love hearing we sent that many fans to Knoxville. My hope is that the more people travel to games, the more fun they'll have and the more fans will start traveling. I really think our reputation for not traveling well was destination related. Hope being in the SEC changes this.

I'd settle for that...plus you're right, that would be a very fun NYE. I may go. He'll, I'm hoping this happens!

We'd take over Memphis for this one if it happens.
Lots of 'ifs' still, but hope it happens.

MU football and ribs at Corky's. That would be a trip.

Nah, Rendezvous.
Have not been to Memphis in years. I have never been there. If I make I may have to hit both.

Looks like a choice between the SEC, Big Easty, and Conference USA.

Interstate or Corky's. Rendezvous if you like the dry rub. Let's take care of business Saturday and make this happen.

I'd love to go down to Memphis for a bowl, really anyplace but Shreveport

Well, I can't go to any of them, so Memphis sounds good to me. I hear Memphis can be a scary place though, don't end up on The First 48.

Memps is a shithole other than Beale Street. My opinion. Regardless, I'm excited. They have good food. There's that.
