Stopping A&M's offense isn't about scheme it's about skill, just like stopping Oregon's offense. LSU and Florida already showed how to do it, have really fast DE's. Manziel killed Bama by extending plays with his legs way more than the A&M scheme did. Against LSU when he tried that Sam and Kiki were right on his tail and he threw tow costly picks by trying to throw on the run under pressure. You stop him the same way you stop Tebow, make him beat you on down the field throws in the pocket

It's comments like these that just crack me up and show just how little you guys paid attention in the game. For instance, against LSU the above describes one pick by Manziel that really was more of a bad read than anything where he tried to force a throw. His other 2 picks? One hit his receiver in the chest and it bounced off. The other was a timing route with his WR who went the wrong way. That doesn't even count the multiple bad reads by Manziel in the game where he missed open receivers, chose bad running lanes, or just made bad decisions.

The UF stuff is just laughable. He didn't even make a single deep throw in that game and he was clearly confused in the 2nd half. He was as green as green could be and it showed.

The best thing that all 3 teams did to figure out the A&M O was to figure out the A&M D. In all 3 games they struggled offensively against A&M early and as the game wore on were able to score points and extend drives and thus take the ball out of JFF's hands.

LSU and UF absolutely deserve props for beating A&M but if you honestly think that was Manziel's "best shot" and he won't correct those problems you are delusional. He is getting better and better at understanding this offense and the talent continues to improve around him.

The truth is guys it doesn't matter what the offensive or defensive scheme is. Not really. What matters is the talent behind it. A&M has good front line talent right now but not good depth. That is going to change in the next couple of years and change dramatically. Once A&M has equal talent at every position plus the depth behind it that Bama, LSU, and UF have watch out. A&M plays a physical and fast offense that isn't a gimmick. It just does a lot of things well. Beyond that defense is really the key. If A&M can continue to improve defensively then the rest is academic. Spurrier's offense got the pub at UF but his defense won titles for him. Same with Meyer.

Keep on telling yourselves though that A&M's offense is a cute little toy that will be crushed by the mighty SEC defenses. It's kind of like how A&M can't compete in the SEC and it will take years before they will have a chance of beating a team like Bama. Good luck with that.
