Last week was a big step, this week, he showed what we should get used to seeing.

Did anyone notice on the the 4th and 12 TD, the ref threw an inadvertent flag. While the ref was explaining the call, DGB walked over and said something to JF. I can't help but think he told him he'd be open.

Idk if I'd call making his first catch with a minute left in the 4th quarter a breakout game, but yeah he is slowly breaking out, probably would have happened soon if not for Lot G. Glad he had sure hands on that second TD in OT.

Again, that second half I missed? ! ?

From everything I've heard, DGB had a good game. I was starting to worry that some early vocal commits might start looking elsewhere. What would be really sweet would be to take care of Syracuse, then knock off aTm for third straight year at CS.

Bummer. You missed the only good part. Totally different team in the second half.

Franklin said he came over and told im he'd be open and to throw him the ball. DGB had been watching the safety, and was sure he could get behind him on a fade route. He and Franklin drew the play up right then and executed.

That came from an article on cbssports.com.

I'm nervous that Syracuse just ran right over Louisville today. We have to win that game, because I don't see us beating A&M this year. The Zou better be rocking next Saturday night!! I'll be there - who's with me?!? M I Z...

I'm in. The Syracuse game will be huge.

I'm still trying to figure out if we're an okay team being shut down by SEC studs or a mediocre team pulling wins out of our arse.

The Syracuse game will hopefully make my decision easier.

Please stomp them Mizzou.

Yes, but I will only need to watch 2nd half and 4 freaking overtimes on the Internet..

By the way, could not find any books by Hancock in library, will have to make a trip B & N. But I have listened to three hours of his material on utube. Hard to believe others in scientific community aren't looking for answers to his valid questions.

It's all relative. If comparing to all of college football teams, we are obviously above average. Comparing us to the teams in our conference, we are below average, neither okay nor mediocre. Hopefully that will change with time and I think it will. I don't think we can beat any team convincingly, whether they're from the Big East or the WAC but I also think we can keep many games against the top teams interesting, for three quarters at least.

I don't know. If we go out and beat the dog shite out of Syracuse, then yeah, it's the conference.

If we piss down our legs, then it's us.

The truth is probably somewhere in the middle.

Semo, you need to roll around in some of that "pixie dust."

I know, one game at a time,

2 TDs = breakout

2 catches = not so breakout

They were some big catches and I was glad to see us target him in the end zone, but I think last week was more of a "breakout game".

How bout we combine the last 2 weeks and declare them his "breakout weeks"?

It was unrelated to this thread. Just an easy way to get hold of you outside of SECr.
