With the loss at Bama any wild dream of an undefeated season or Atlanta died. Then any more pressure or expectations were pretty much butchered by Johnny Football. I don't really have much faith in this team after last week, but I still think I(and we) can be surprised. Look at UGA taking down UF after getting their asses kicked by South Carolina, or how we responded vs. Arkansas in 2010 after Bama embarassed us. The team can just focus on getting better every week and trying to up our bowl position. We still have a shot at double digit wins this year and that is huge for us as it's only happened once or twice in history. LSU is most likely not a real winnable game for us but I think we can make it a respectable game and for sure if we come out focused I think we can win the last two. Win 2 out of 3, win the bowl and we'll finish 10-3 on the year. Who was predicting that in August?

I predicted 8 wins on the season, so I can't say that I am too upset. It was just the way we lost the 2 games.
Also if the two losses had been dispersed and not in a row, people would be a lot less upset.

I agree with the op 100%. I think the complete lack of emotion vs A&M is what people are worried about. I've been as pissed as everyone else but I'm still heading to BR on Friday and plan on having a damn good time. Anyone going to the MSU tailgate at Walk-ons?

I thought we were a 7-5 team, possibly 8, at the beginning of the season. I expected to lose 5 between Aub, Tenn, Bama, LSU, A&M, Ark. Well we still could be 7-5 but I'd like to see how our guys play Sat. before I write the season off. A win over Arkansas would be pretty nice to get the guys fired up for the following week.

If we are at 9 wins coming into bowl season first round of shots at the bowl city are on me.

my preseason prediction was 8-4
W's- nonconference, UK, OM
2-2 vs UT, Auburn, Arky, A&M
L's- Bama, LSU
not happy the way we were completely dominated by A&M, but I am far from giving up on this team/season.
Not expecting a W saturday, just hope for a good/close game.
We should handle Arky and I will admit that the Egg Bowl has me a little more nervous than at the start of the season, but I am confident in Mullen in that game
so 9-3 is very possible but at worst we are 8-4

You remind me of a young Evan Stone.
