That study is so flawed I don't even know where to begin. For starters the sample size is variable between groups and their minimum is 50 students, assumed from email addresses or IP domains. In other words, that includes university staff in addition to students with no way to filter them out.

Additionally, 50 students would represent 0.1% of the A&M student body, and you would need a much larger sample size to obtain a statistically meaningful result and properly compare results with schools of smaller enrollments, like those listed in the top 50.

Furthermore, this list is more analogous to ranking universities based on standard test scores of the student body, which is incredibly flawed since you could obtain a similar looking list simply by ranking schools according to their student test score minimum requirement. It factors in nothing of how well the university in question educated its students or how well those students are prepared for the workforce upon graduation.

Summary: using this study as proof of A&M's academic inferiority is both ignorant and incredibly idiotic. You sir, are a dumbass.

Classic internet "Uh oh, I'm getting owned here, time to act like it was just a joke from the beginning!" move.
