What some people are forgetting

LSU played press coverage on Bama in the 2nd half and limited anything we could do throwing. We got away from the run and played right into their hands. My question to everyone is,Who else will we play with dbs that are as good as LSU's? Who else will we play that can give us that type of defensive performance?

Georgia in the SEC Championship Game. But that's not to say A&M won't give us a fight because they will.

I don't think that Georgia's dbs are that good. LSU is notorious for its secondary

Actually no one. No joke.

Nobody. LSU was the country's last hope against a Bama repeat and we failed everyone.

I would think the more important question is if Nuss can interpret the film and correct the coaching mistakes on offense that were so glaring in the 2nd half. All credit to LSU defense but it was almost as if Bama was calling offensive plays based off what LSU was set up to stop

Agree with this.

Hold on there. Maybe LSU was the country's last great hope against Bama.
Just because your receivers couldn't make simple catches in the first half doesn't mean we can't.
Don't count the Ags out completely. We have ruined perfectly good seasons before!!

So if we run the table we have either ND, Oregon, or K-State. The only one that scares me is Oregon

Oregon's defense, and especially their defensive line, is soft as cotton. No way they will keep Bama from running all over them.

I'll take "I don't watch college football" for $500, Alex.

Georgia's corners aren't as good as LSU's but their safeties are as good as anyone's. However, their O-line looked terrible at times against Ole Miss yesterday. I think if Bama can score 14 they win.

Nobody, LSU has the best defense in the country.

LSU did the same thing to Johnny Football and A&M.
Y'all are good. LSU is the best defense in the country, and y'all came out on top. The only worry I see for you guys is Oregon maybe outscoring y'all in Miami.

Hmmm this sounds very familiar.

Alabama did run the ball at will on LSU before Nussmeier mysteriously decided to abandon the running game for a more wide open passing offense. I'm not saying they aren't the best but it wasn't like Alabama couldn't move the ball on them when they stuck with the running game.
