He was one of the freshmen that got arrested with DGB, right? Sounds like maybe they found the source of the problem.

Hopefully DGB learned his lesson and can stay out of trouble. I really want to see him succeed.

IF this was his 2nd violation I am good with him getting kicked off. If it wasnt then thats not fair he got one strike.

Sorry to hear this, but he must have been driving in some improper manner to get pulled over. I know these players are kids, but they should have sense to weigh risk of temporary buzz over permanent future loss.

The public can debate the sense of the law, but the police are supposed to enforce it.

I'm confused. Had he been charged before? I'm on board with if he had been charged before he should be gone. If he wasn't charged before it's a double standard? Or does the amount make it a one strike situation?

If I have it correct, he was not charged by police, but was in vehicle. While only 3 had police charges, all five(Holifield, included) did receive disciplinary action from Coach GP.

It's probably a good thing he's gone, don't get me wrong, but it kind of sounds like a double standard if he was never charged.

in case some are confused, he was booted off the team before this latest arrest. This latest arrest has NOTHING to do with why he was kicked off the team. As far as I know, they have not said why he was kicked off the team other than team rules.
