Just means he was a good coach and prepared his team to play well in hostile environments. Just because someone has success in Tiger Stadium doesn't make it any less loud or intimidating. It just means that coach or team was that good to neutralize opponents home field advantage.

Actually Coach Bryant was 10-1-1 in Baton Rouge; 1 win as UK's coach, 1 win as TAMU's coach, and 8 as Alabama's coach.

Coach Bryant only lost in Baton Rouge 1 time, 1969.
