Any suggestions?

I have not used the park and ride but have talked to people that have and their experiences were positive. I believe the parking is at the Regions Bank downtown that is way beyond walking distance - probably 3-4 miles from campus. It does look like it drops at McArther Hall which is about as close as you can get to the stadium near game time. There is a real time map once you get there where you can track where the bus is in its route. Here is the map I am talking about but don't have a clue what time you would need to be at Regions in order to get to the stadium at 9:45-10:00 as you targeted.

I think this sophomoric argument calls for a MSU vs A&M hotty thread to settle it.

I appreciate the only real reply in this pillow fight of a thread. The wife and I are staying in Jackson Fri night then having a quick breakfast and driving in to Strarkvegas. Glad for the early kickoff so we can drive back to Louisiana in time for LSU bama. Anxious to meet some ags and dogs before and after the game

Thanks for the reply. To be clear, I'm really just shooting to park between 9:45 and 10. As long as we get to the stadium by kickoff, we'll be happy. I was thinking that arriving after 9:30 would mean we were in for a pretty substantial walk if we park on campus, and that we might be better off parking downtown, and hopefully finding some place to eat down there after the game.

I double checked the distance on Google and from the Municipal Court parking lot (which I believe is where the shuttle stops) to the stadium in the most direct line is just over a mile and a quarter. Could be that isn't right, but just eyeballing it, that sounds reasonable. At any rate, my thought was to ride the shuttle TO the stadium, and if walking it looked feasible (having driven the route), then we might walk BACK.
