Alabama is boring to watch because nobody can compete with them. LSU, Georgia and Florida are boring to watch because they are, at times, a clusterfrick.

The Bama-LSU BCS game was the lowest rated championship since Al Gore invented championship games. I suppose they should just switch this one to Andre and Dave on the SEC Network noon kick time slot.

You can't compare the 2011 and 2012 Championship game ratings to those prior really. The last two have been on cable and the others were on network channels.

the nation will tune in to watch the #1 ranked team, period. they are not watching LSU. that's why CBS usually selects highest ranked team to play at 2:30 and why UGA is selected this week instead of the aTm/Grinders

Is it bad I fell asleep with around 9 minutes left in the 3rd quarter last night?
I didn't fall asleep during the Georgia/Florida game but I just wasn't as excited to watch it like I was Bama / MS State

Precisely so. Not to mention that it was such a one-sided affair and did not appear to be in doubt.
Do note that for the SEASON, CBS with the SEC prominently featured, had its highest college football ratings in over 20 years.
