Looked to me like he said 'Don't talk.' Would like to know what he said afterwards.

Releford still our best player

Thats what it looks like to me too. The announcers said he is coming off the bench but I didn't catch the first half. Who was in the starting five?
I'd say early returns indicate you'll be sticking around. Although, it seems like Grant's teams have been notoriously slow starters since he has been at UA.

If UGA gave them the ball 5-10 yards away from the goal line 4 or 5 times then they probably would have score a lot in that game too. Don't act like its been so long that we dont remember how that one went down.

mett is having his best game leave him in and either give it to hill or throw the ball for the first.

Yea. I think you have to give it to Hill there. The way he was coming off the ground and diving for the extra yards all night I'm not sure they could have stopped him from going over the top for a single yard.

Not sure, but his name was a rumor for coordinator last year as well. Just because your kid is at auburn doesn't mean you are going to coach there. We have had several kids of nfl coaches, dick jouron, wade Phillips, fisher, etc... They are nfl coaches, that's their career, the nfl, not college.

Good point. It just doesn't make sense to use something like having a son at a certain university as a reason for a coach to go there. His kid is going to be there 5 years at the most and then what happens... Now, in high school a coach might hang on a few extra years instead of retiring because he has kids or grand kids coming through. But, the college and nfl games are a lot bigger than that.

true, but even still, in the championship game, LSU held bama to 5 field goals until the last few minutes of the game.

You mention this like it is a good thing. But, I can also spin it and say that Alabama was in scoring position 5 times and with better execution might have had 35 points in TDs while LSU failed to cross the 50 for damn near the whole game. Doesn't sound so impressive now does it?

Holly Rowe ?@sportsiren
Note from ESPN research: Since Week 2 of the 1993 season, LSU has been shut out three times in 244 games. All 3 came at the hands of Alabama
I can understand that. Milliner made an effort to correct himself after he butted the MSU punt returner on the fair catch. Its still a penalty. What we need is a screen grab of the halo penalty cause I swear the ball damn near grazed the MSU player's helmet on the way down.
The Bama-LSU BCS game was the lowest rated championship since Al Gore invented championship games. I suppose they should just switch this one to Andre and Dave on the SEC Network noon kick time slot.

A large portion of Bama's scoring plays are passes, actually I believe the vast majority are, that could be a huge factor in limiting their scoring.

So, the game @UT is the only Bama game you watched this year and now you know all about whats going on? :banghead:

AJ has 16 TD passes this year. The more impressive part of that to me is that 6 different players have at least 2 of them. Thats spreading the wealth. But, back to you exercising your lack of knowledge. Bama has 18 rushing TDs. So, I dont know how math works at Miss St but perhaps your stat grind needs some work.

And let me drop another stat on that arse while I got you here. Interesting stat note: Alabama has 287 points in 7 games; High-powered W. Virginia has 288.
The grinders will bend the knee or I'll destroy them...

:pimp:
Don't know if this has been pointed out but AJ only had 1 TD pass against Mizzou and Arkansas combined. The combined score of those games - 94-10. If he doesn't throw a TD pass and you lose 31-10 will you throw a parade?
I didn't think any more evidence was needed. But, methamphetamine is a hell of a drug.

:spank: I've been lurking for awhile. Been trying to get my account activated for two weeks now. :rotflmao:
I think they have figured it out. It just seems like linemen, especially O-line, are the toughest positions to evaluate. You get a few once in a lifetime talents that everyone knows will play very quickly. The rest are kind of crap shoots. Then, along with that, you have to have the S&C program to get those guys up to snuff with the rest of the SEC.
