I want to thank the Rocky Top Nation on behalf of South Carolina fans for the sportsmanship and compassion that your team, and fans in the stadium showed today while Marcus was down. Marcus Lattimore is very special to us here, he is beloved by many, and has proven over his career here to be a model student athlete. Historically at South Carolina we have had very few players of his caliber, Hell, only one other person is even in the debate. I was in the stadium and it was one of the hardest things I've ever sat through. I saw many grown men with tears in their eyes. That was our hero down there, and we all knew it was over. Superman was down.

I have always had a strong dislike for Tennesse, mostly because you guys spanked us all the time. After what I saw today, an act of compassion and caring that transcends any sport, I'm rooting for you Tennessee.

It was a classy move. It wasn't just in the stadium, people watching everywhere became very emotional. It was tough to see.

The out pouring of support, especially from other players and teams, really gives me faith in humanity.

We Tennessee fans know what an injury like that feels like. In 2006 against Air Force (which we almost lost) we lost one of our star CB's Inky Johnson who had a helmet to helmet collision with a AF player. It left him paralyzed. I wasn't at the SC game this afternoon so I can't speak for what that stadium must have been like but that afternoon in 2006 I don't think I have ever heard a large crowd so quiet in my life.

Get well soon Marcus Lattimore you are a well respected man in College Football and hopefully I will see you running all over my Vols in the years to come.

What a loss it is to have Lattimore badly injured. He cannot catch a break it seems. Praying for his speedy recovery.

Rest assured that all of the SEC nation and I would hope college football nation pray for and hope Lattimore weathers this next storm.

I was watching while waiting on my beloved Dawgs to defeat the hated gators, but believe me, all of my buds and I stopped when that happened.

He is held in high esteem and if anyone can make it back, he can. Heck of a back, I should know he ran all over us his freshman and soph years.

Godspeed.
