Thoughts from the game:
For an 11:00 game attendance and energy of the crowd was alright I guess.
James Franklin was the spark plug today jesus i never though I'd say that
I wish Sheldon would have scored on his fumble recovery, watching him run 60 yards made my day.
Great game by Lawerence as usual but Yost refuses to run the football even when it was successful (i.e. Berkstresser just threw an interception and he comes back to pass on the first play Berkstresser returns)
Overall the offense is still painful to watch, Lucas has no confidence, and we're living and dying by our defensive unit
Attention high school senior centers Mizzou needs one and you have the opportunity for immediate playing time!!!

I was thrilled with the O today. This is what I thought we should have been from the beginning of the year. We got enough talent on the OL to run the ball well and we have all year when we give it to the RBs.
Today, Yost called a fairly good game other than he still used the pass way too much when it was obvious UK couldn't stop the run. We need to grind out these games and keep the D fresh.
Did everyone notice what a rested MU D did the 2nd half? Total domination.

We had 273 yards of total offense. I don't think I'm thrilled by that. I did think Lawrence looked good, but hardly thrilled with how the O looked. The defense set the offense up. I think our longest scoring drive was 50 yards. After that, they were like 15-30 yard drives.

M I Z...Z O U !
That was such a needed win! I was going nuts, as the game wasn't televised and I didn't have Internet connectivity. I had to depend on texts from Romeo and stolen minutes in the back room where I tuned in radio broadcast.

The game was on TV, was it just not on your TV?

I wondered about that. My mother only subscribes to a basic satellite package in KC area, but Romeo had to watch on Internet and we have ESPN/ESPN2 on our cable package in Wichita metro area.
I am trying to decide if sports superstition now requires me to avoid watching games, in order for the team to keep winning.
