As I have stated, with so many fans feeling this way in really surprised they have kept playing there but I know there are reasons for it and I suppose the fans bitching about it still go to the game so I guess the AD doesn't really care
Memphis is closer to Fayetteville, Ark by over an hour than it is to Knoxville, Tenn. Therefore, the driving excuse is just an excuse plus in today's world is about the population to proximity when referencing the vast majority of the stadium population.
The days playing in Little Rock are numbered. It's not a coincidence as Fayetteville is expanding to 83,000+ around the same year the contract is up on Little Rock games.
However, they can keep 1 game a year there as far as I'm concerned but the rest if not all will be moved to the Hill. It is true that Little Rock and it's money basically built the Arkansas program as it was a direct highway to Memphis and Dallas. However, times have changed and ASU can have Little Rock for games to help grow their marketing if they so wish.

Excellently stated.
How much $$ do you lose in premium seating/game to play in WMS? Millions I would think?
The way to continue playing at War Memorial is to move all home games to Fayetteville, then have a private investment group(the city of Little Rock) "buy" your road games from other(Sun Belt level) teams and play those games in War Memorial...Surely there is enough of a $$ margin there for all involved to make this worthwhile? I think you've already done a little bit of this if I'm not mistaken.
FWIW, State has some fans working to put together a private investment group in attempt to "buy" our Sun Belt-level road games to move them to Jackson. Idea is still in it's infancy stages, so no clue whether or not it happens...
