Im a vols fan through thick and thin. We have been on hard times recently. And just as much as the next guy id love to have chucky as the head coach of tennessee.... But i know that is a long shot.
Here is my take on dooley. He was thrown in a tough situation, i was mad at our season last year but we had key injuries we couldnt over come so i said i would give dooley this year. At the beginning of the season i said if we did not win 9 games i thought it was time for a change. Well we now have to win out "including bowl" to hit that mark. We are very capable of that, er can beat sc (that is not a shot at cock fans, just saying we can) and then the rest of our schedule is favorable. I just think the majority of our fans are giving up too soon. We lost to 3 teams better than us and one that is improved this year. So what if the doolander turns it around? What if we finish 9-4? Then what? My opinion is a 9-4 season would help the program more than another coaching change and start back from scratch! I just feel like most fair weather fans would rather throw in the towel than try an salvage the season.

When has Dooley ever given us the impression that he can turn anything around? I will answer that for you. He hasn't

He will have a much more Senior, experienced team next year.

He has not.. But the season is not over. No need in throwing in the towel now when all we need is a win saturday to salvage a very obtainable 9 win season. All the crying for a new coach now does nothing for this season

And we will go 6-6. Look at our schedule. Then we fire him and start over with a team that is depleted just like when Kiffin left. We fire him now, and get a good coach that will have an experienced team for his first year.

@Oregon
@Florida
@Alabama
vs. Georgia
vs. South Carolina
Looks like a winner to me.

Y'all have lost 4 games while playing one of the toughest schedules in the country. Losing to #2 Florida, #10 Georgia, #11 Mississippi State, and #1 Alabama. DAMN. If you lose to USC (#13) but win out after that y'all will be 7-5. Win the bowl game y'all will have an 8 win season. Not too bad. That NC State win is looking better every week. Keep Dooley.

Yep. We will lose all of those games with Dooley's POS roster.
He will be around 0-20 against ranked teams and I guess you will call for a fifth year.
Not sure why you want this fricktard around our program any longer. Unfathomable. Zero improvement, zero competence, zero chance against teams with a pulse.

Aren't y'all getting out of that one?

You guys are as bad as LSU fans. Lighten up, you still have a shot at 8-4 plus bowl. It's not as bad as it seems. Remember, UK led USC at halftime and Florida humiliated them. This could be Dooley's signature win!

i hope there are more UT fans like you.
it means there will be more tolerance for garbage coaching and we'll hace one less tough program to deal with. keep it going.

Im not saying keep him. Like i said im all for a chucky hire "if someone can make it happen" im saying we dont have to throw in the towel now, players feed off of fans, and fans givinf up means players giving up. I dont want to waste the rest of this season trying to make a coaching hire/fire. I would rather push toward 9-4 and get some excitement in knoxville. If wr keep swapping coaches every 2 years no recruits would want to come to tn.
And to say POS roster? With the exception of our secondary and linebackers we have talent on the roster. Some players that will go pretty high in future drafts

It takes a special kind of retard to support Dooley if you have watched his first 32 games at the helm here.
Just an absolute abortion of an effort in each and every capacity. Coaching, hiring, motivating, recruiting. You name it, he has fricking sucked at it.
BUT HE IS A VFL. WHO CARES THAT HE IS 1-12 IN HIS LAST 13 SEC GAMES. BILL BELICHICK WOULD BE 2!1!1!1!1!!!!@#1!

From a neutral standpoint, you guys should keep Dooley, in my estimation. At least for another year. He inherited a situation that was complete shite, and firing him will basically just put you back in that situation. Maybe if he drops the rest of the game, you can dump him, but I think he deserves a little credit, he is, after all, not Gene Chizik. I'm not really saying he is a good coach, but more than you guys would be even more fricked by firing him and hiring who? Jon Gruden? There is no reason to think he can coach a college team, and he wouldn't come anyway.

UT needs to keep him, 5-7 or 8-5 he needs a few more years to turn it around...
