Either you have future Oscar-winning defensive players or you need to get a new strength and conditioning coach since they were getting cramps in the first quarter of an 80 degree game.

I'll agree with your implication. That was embarrassing.

The boos started on the first drive. I had to explain to my cohorts that even if LSU's strategy is to fake injuries, it's the first fricking drive.

So we deserve some ridicule on that front.

However, the cramps on the second drive were a bit peculiar. I'll remain ambivalent regarding those.

I am embarrassed by the booing, but the injury just before the 4th and 4 was the most transparently fake injury I've ever seen. #34 went down well after the play, took a ridiculous amount if time to get up, was never attended to on the sideline, and came back in the game on the next play.
