Could he be the Mizzou version of Johnny fricking Football? Just curious. I've heard everything from yes, he's the truth to no, he'll be a LB/Safety.
Which is it?

I've watched him play. To me he's more Tebow'esk. Thats how I view him. He's got size and speed but he's got moves also. He's tough and comes from a team that is used to winning. I think though he can pass the ball much better than Tebow.
I think he stays at QB.

Went and watched him at Elite 11. Didn't really impress me much, but it's a little tougher to evaluate in a non-game situation.
Looks small.

I love that you made this thread, I tried making this comparison and it got shot down.
Hosick has the #1 shuttle time in the nation for QBs, I love that more than the 40 time.
We have a hard enough time defining guys that we have first hand experience watching at the D1 level, no one can say how good Hosick will be or if he'll even be an effective QB.
But, he has a similar stature to JFF, and he has tools to be a similar player. Excited for what could be, and happy to have a guy like Printz in the program in case Hosick doesn't turn into a college QB.

People keep saying they think he is small. He is bigger than Mauk, he is as big as JFF. He was a great wrestler, and I love how wrestlers bodies develop. It's like layers of strength, not just a swell of muscle if that makes sense.

I was able to watch him early in the season on ESPN against LSW, I think? They shut his arse down. I know they have a couple of blue chips on d over there as well.
Based on that, he didnt look impressive, yes, I know, it's one game. His recruiting vid looks promising however. Here's to him panning out.

Likewise, only saw the one game on TV and wasn't impressed. Based on what you read and hear, sounds like it should be fun watching Mauk, Hosick and Printz battle it out.

He had 108 yrds rushing, 133 passing and 2 int-ees. Accept for the two interceptions, it's not bad numbers against argueably the areas top team.

If the SEC really does put their best athletes on D we should put him on D.
