I thought Texas A&M was supposed to be the new rival starting 2013.
Also, to take the next step don't we need to get out of the manageability mindset?
Last year and this year's schedules were both manageable with our rosters.
You were a better team than Auburn. Though you weren't at full strength versus Arkansas, elite SEC teams have developed depth, i.e. some starters aren't easily replaced but the backups should be ready at any moment.
LSU night games are supposedly the best. You only lost by 2 despite LSU dominating the game. Your defense did a good job of holding LSU to field-goal attempts rather than touchdowns, though Mettenberger helped a little too. Shouldn't be too hard over that loss, but the team had many opportunites to score. Playcalling, Connor, whatever, the team and staff only have themselves to blame. I don't want to talk about the Florida loss. That was an anomaly.
Anyways, my point is that we've had the players to go 12-0 this season and last, but something has been holding us back. My first guess would be coaching.

Yeah, not being able to effectively play on the road.
