WTF, I thought we were playing Arky? Another year of JFF I guess.

Much easier road schedule than this year. Get some tough home games though... @Ole Miss should be fun and hopefully we can win that.
Wish we played a conference game in September though

The Arkansas will be our permanent rival starting in 2014.
I heart this schedule BTW.

Yes, this is an interesting wrinkle. This could work both ways. Perhaps they'll have a little more confidence going into play, however, @Vandy and UGA right off the bat will be tough. Especially UGA will have already seen USC, LSU, and UT by that game.

We'll have 2 bye weeks too. We need to schedule a cupcake for 9/14. We'll have a bye right before conference play and a bye before Ole Miss.

Drawing Ole Miss + having A&M at our place in November =

Any idea about that last non-con game for next year? I wish we still played Illinois to kick off the season...

Another good thing is that the wind wont be pulled out of the sails early like this year. We dont hit a strong competitor until UGA in the middle of Oct. Vandy could be sneaky though so it will be key to get that. We have learned this year not to overlook them.

Damn, that's the schedule we needed this year. We would have started the season 4-0, rode the momentum of 4 wins and joining the SEC into a bye week before playing Vandy? Rough month from Georgia through Tennessee but 3 of those games are at home, giving you a good shot at 1 and maybe 2 of those. Then 2 more bye weeks (ok Kentucky and a bye week) before Ole Miss??? Finishing off with A&M at home???
Maybe I'm wearing the Mizzou blinders but I see 9 wins in that schedule and I think I'm being somewhat conservative concerning my current thoughts about the team.

I certainly see 6-7 wins, with a couple toss up, it will definitely be better than this year.

Damn, why couldn't that have been this year to keep everyone high on the move to the SEC and the team in general. Recruiting. Donations. Ticket sales. Etc...

Bummed we didn't kick off the Ark rivalry next year..
And that is 3 tough weeks in a row with GA, FLA, USC..
I like that we have some games to grow as team before conference play. I think we really missed that this year.

Dude I'm loving this schedule, hopefully we get our shite together this offseason and we could potentially make some noise next year. Going to Athens and Oxford, can't wait for the scenery...

I would have liked to have seen that last game switched out to Arky too myself.
2012 Road Games: USCe, UT, UF, A&M
2013 Road Games: Vandy, UGA, UK, Ole Miss
2012 Home Games: UGA, Vandy, Bama, UK
2012 Home Games: UF, USCe, UT, A&M
It will be a tough stretch of 3 even 4 games, but at least 3 of the 4 are at home. Our road schedule is night and day if you ask me. Our home schedule is a bit more difficult but not much more.

God I feel like a Cubs fan saying "Can't wait till next year" when THIS year isn't even over.
Posted on 10/18/12 at 3:19 pm to reedus23
Haha so true, but at least the excitement is still there. We need more fans like ourselves who are SEC ready and get excited over the announcement of the schedule.
By the way for anyone doing road trips next year look into hotels now, the ole miss game it will be hard to find a hotel in oxford

It's all been said, but count me as being "on the bandwagon" for 2013 schedule!
