9 Mississippi State commits selected to the MS/AL All star game

MS/AL Game roster
Here is the Mississippi roster for the Mississippi-Alabama All-Star Game, scheduled for Dec. 15 in Montgomery, Ala. The roster, chosen by the coaching staff, was announced today.
RB - Ashton Shumpert*(Future MSU commit), Itawamba AHS; Kailo Moore* (MSU), West Bolivar;
WR - Scott Austin* (MSU), Biloxi;
OL – Jake Thomas* (MSU), Columbus; Kent Flowers* (MSU), Simmons; Deon Mix* (MSU), South Panola;
DL - Chris Jones (MSU), Houston
LB- Tayler Polk, Brandon (Possible MSU walk-on)
DB- Gabe Myles* (MSU), Starkville; Tyreone Holmes (MSU), Tylertown; Brandon Wells(MSU), Bogue Chitto;
Ole Miss only had one commit make the game.

True, but you can play in two all star games.

This is HUGE, if Shumpert and Conner stretch things out they will have 9 Dawgs recruiting them and forming relationships with them for that week.

It will help with Shumpert no question, but Connor is a lost cause and will be a black bear.

Read the quotes from the Marcello article I put in the recruiting post and you may think differently. He was close to committing to us in camp and OM was out of the picture but I think Freeze has pulled them back into things. At this point I would agree I think he ends up there.

They got the mommma locked up apparently. They always recruit the mom. Just like when Floyd Raven wanted to send his fax into A&M and his mom forged his signature and faxed an LOI to Ole Miss.

Don't believe what you hear from people who have no better idea than we do. I judge by what I see in interviews with the actual kid. They have been spewing that he was there for the Ole Miss game "unofficialy" too, just completely coincidence that nobody saw him there and he says he wasn't apparently.
