I know this is true but I find this weird. I would think the Econ dept. would be in the Business school.

That's because most people hear talk about Macro Econ (unemployment rate, inflation etc etc) and not talk about Micro Econ. But to quote Dr. Ault, "Macro econ is just a necessary evil, if you're not interested in micro econ then you shouldn't be in this major".
