Who here would be on board with him coming back to coach UT after we fire Dooley? He's got Duke playing really well.

No way. I liked Cut and its no coincidence how bad Fulmer was without him but I want all ties cut to that era of UT football.Plus, I really doubt he would be that much better of a recruiter than Dooley is, even if he did coach the Mannings.

Fulmer was fired in 08. Why in the hell would UT bring Cutcliffe back in 2013? He couldn't get it done at Ole Miss, was told to fire staff members after a losing season and refused to do so (sound familiar?). The 90s have come and gone. This ain't the SEC that Fulmer/Cut/Chavis used to out talent everyone but Florida.

No. That staff would have our talent level at an all time low very quickly. They make this staff look like USC's in terms of recruiting ability.

I think Chavis has proven to be the real "talent" on the staff. He's probably improved his reputation greatly since '08, while the others really haven't.

No. I like Cutcliffe, but I think he is better suited at a place where expectations are lower (Ole Miss, Duke) than he would be in the grind of a place like Tennessee. I have no doubt he would do fine here, but if we are going to can Dooley, we need to go big or go home.
