How do you feel about the game Saturday and what do you think we have to do to win?
I think for us to win we have to control the clock get our running game going early which will open up the passing for russell.
On defense we HAVE to get pressure on Bray early and often. Lets be honest if he has all day to throw its going to be hard to stop him.
My prediction: MSU- 24 bUTchuggers-21

Autry has to come up big and play to his potential and we have to open up our playbook on both sides

pressure bray/make them try to beat us with the run

I'm thinking this game will remind me of the Georgia 2010 game.

This. I think we have been extremely vanilla so far to save everything for the UT game. I expect a lot of blitzes that we have not seen from wilson so far

Pressure bray, have some sustained drives but be agressive, use our tight ends more

While watching the UT/UGA game the announcers said that Bray's completion percentage under pressure is around 20%

IMO we must
1. Blitz and put pressure on Bray. Contain the run and contain big plays.
2. Get first downs and eat up the clock. Score TDs when given the opportunity. FG are unacceptable. 3 and outs are bad, b/c we need to control the clock and keep their offense off the field and our D rested.
3. No drive killing penalties, and win the turnover margin.

Sharp I've had the same feeling all week about this game. I like our odds we need to just play our game and it will take care of itself. The vols can't get people off of the field

I think when everyone sees this game that isn't a State fan automatically thinks UT is going to win because they think of us as the old State team and see the 0-5 record against UT in the past. Cant wait to prove them wrong

This game seems fairly even on paper but I see us playing lights out in an electric atmosphere. The score may not be as bad but think USC vs UGA

I think Broomfield and Wells are key to this one. They should allow us to show a lot of nickel where most teams cant, if that happens and we get consistent pressure it's going to be a long day for Bray.
