You scored 14 while being on offense most of the game. I wouldn't call that dominating our defense.

Florida's offense laid a beatdown on LSU's defense in the second half. Physical mismatch. As badly as we dominated LSU in the BCS game we never quite did that to their defense. I don't know how much that's on Florida's offense or how much that's on LSU's defense. Clearly they had some key losses but outside of Brockers the front seven didn't seem to lose that much.

It was an impressive performance though, obviously.

LSU fans were puffing their chests out talking like a pimp, UF shows up and what happens?
Most LSU fans figured we were going to lose.

Watch the Towson game.

The Gators cuckold your team
Do you know what that means? You are saying you cheated on LSU.

I am not sure how that makes sense. . .

IDGAF about Towson
They are a better offensive team than you guys. Probably just a talent issue, but maybe coaching? not sure.

BGSU scored 14 on UF.
They have a better offense than LSU.

Your D is talented but mentally soft.
So it is no big deal to push them around. It sure wasn't for Towson.

quote:

, IDGAF about how bad you think your team is
We are so bad that we lose to UF-quality teams.

That's just sad.

All the while being out coached
There's an accomplishment.

LSU gets outcoached by everyone we play.

Meh, that's a side issue to the OP. Rereading Easley's comments he's clearly a putz. Like I said, if he sees LSU again (most likely as a senior), he'll be dealt with. A hallmark of youth is being boisterous so I suppose it's not that big of a deal.

You don't have to score a lot to dominate someone. After Jan 9 I figured LSU fans would have learned this by now.

I dunno how Coach McDougle does it. Shamrocks I guess.

fair enough, but LSU's defense was on the field all night against us in the BCS game and we never gashed them like that. They ran the ball like 20 straight times and LSU's defense couldn't get off the field.

I was kind of shocked really. The star of the BCS game was McCarron. Florida just ran the ball, repeatedly.

Driskel was ok at best IMO. Held on to the ball far too long at times. He could be their major liability against USCe.

Having two LB's out has an effect.

Again, fair enough But LSU's D-Line was being pushed back repeatedly. Very impressed with Florida's O-Line and just how physical they were as a team. Did not see that coming.

definitely, but we were missing our best LBer for the entire game. one of your LBers came back in (Minter) and the only was a true freshman.....so it's not like you lost much during the game.

UF was playing 2 true freshman on the D-line throughout the game

14-6 is exactly what it says it is...14-6. Domination would best be represented by another recent LSU/UF game. Good gawd.

You scored twice. Hardly dominant. Bama scored 6 times on 1/9.

Dominant is like 41-11 last year.

I can almost guarantee they'll feel the same way against Bama if they make it that far. Pretty big obstacles in the way right now though.

1. LOL
2. Bama's defense is better than LSU's, and your shitty offense only scored 14 points.
3. Bama's offense is MILES ahead of (pardon the pun) LSU's.
4. UF would not be playing Bama in Gainesville.
5. Florida is Alabama's bitch as of late

Anything can happen on any given Saturday, but there is absolutely no reason to be so confident that Florida would beat a more talented, better-coached Alabama team on a neutral field. To think otherwise means you're a moron.

It's funny that Florida thinks they're good because they beat us.

They'll have 3 losses by season's end.

It would be funny if by some miracle LSU shows up in the SECCG against Florida! Stranger things have happened!

That said, congratulations on the win! We deserve an L at this point. I hope our WR corps improve from here. They could have been the difference in the game!

Our D got tired.....and it's because our O is so bad.

This. Give credit to UF, they obviously are the better team (or at least were on Sat.). They did what they needed to do and beat us at our own game. It was humbling. However I would say that UF's defense while very good is not as good as our offense is bad. In other words I think our sorry offensive execution, bad play calls and taped together o-line had more to do with the loss than UF's defense being spectacular.
