I'd consider a Nick Saban type hire more in the category of a grand slam than a home run. Grand slams change games, home runs just add to the score. While certainly a big positive, they don't guarantee wins by themselves.

Anyone throw out Pete Carmichael's name? He might be willing to jump ship at the Saints to head coach for a few years.
