in my lifetime, these two teams have combined to capture a total of 5 national championships
it is quite amazing that two teams have produced such vast success in such a short amount to time
whats is even more amazing is that miami has captured 5 national titles by themselves, in that same period of time
this is why florida removed miami from their annual schedule following the 1987 season
