Apparently Randy Galloway of ESPN Dallas on his show today, confirmed that Arkansas AD Jeff Long had a meeting last night with Jon Gruden.
"He's been a journalist in Dallas for 30+ years, I doubt he'd be making it up".

If Daly and Jone pull this off then LSU and Bama should just burn their shirts in the streets because this would be bigger than Petrino. I personally do not believe it but there are a lot of personal friends of friends of Gruden talking crap and if Long met with the Grude in a plane then that was to sign a contract. just saying

changed my mind. You realize that Gruden has won Superbowls, is probably the most respected coach in the nation. Recruiting which has always been our problem would automatically turn around over night. Bama and LSU would loose recruits to us for a change instead of the other way around.
John Gruden is a game changer and if the University of Arkansas hires him then I will personally drive up to Fayetteville and kiss Daly, Gruden and Long all at once.
