I booked 4 months in advance

There were several threads where you Ags told us about "off the beaten path" places, so wrong again.

Every university has a majority non-greek population dumbass

I probably asked 20+ people about the conference, that was how I formed my opinion. Admit it is a small sample size, but those were the results.

Interstate 45

For "worse than I thought" I was mostly referring to midnight yell

First, you need to read this.

quote:

A lot of what you said is true. The women are just ok here, with some hotties sprinkled in but the ratios are not that great. Northgate is a terribly overrated bar scene. The tailgating is middle of the road. And the food scene in college station is short of terrible but..yeah. That said, the most important thing a place can have is good people. You said people were kind to a fault. That may suck for football but for living here and going to school year round, its great. Its why I chose A&M and now A&M is shooting up in academic prestige as well. While you say some true things, you never once struck anyone here as anything but a douche. Im not bitter but a spade is a spade. You came off arse and seem to have acted like a tool not even worth slapping around. So there, take it or leave it.

Second, I can't stress how big of a tool you appear you be.

So you ASKED 20 fans about the conference thing and you are now criticizing them for being positive about it?

Yes, we are happy to be in the best conference in the nation. I guess we should feel bad about it.

You do understand that there are plenty of SEC fans who have welcomed us to the conference, right? So yeah, we get that not everyone wanted the SEC to expand, but SEC fans have been both welcoming and firing off warnings about kicking our asses. We like the piss and vinegar in the conference. You being negative about that is almost as funny as you being upset that there were not enough guys dressed like you.

Its fine if you don't like A&M or College Station, but you really sound like someone who had fed into negative stereotypes and had a bad attitude going in. Good for you. But don't post here acting like you went in with a neutral attitude. I look forward to going to Fayetteville and plan to ignore all the comments I've heard from friends who think it is an absolute shite hole.
