Can Andre Debose be fixed?

I would love to get more of the story on Debose. Obviously he does not devote himself in practice, which leads to him riding the bench in games (TWO coaching staffs have done this).

Is it an attitude problem? Trouble learning plays? Lazy? All of the above?? At any rate, it is a shame to see that kind of talent go to waste.

At this point, I am not sure he can be fixed. Hope I'm wrong.

He has the speed but might be missing the mental part. To play devil advocate, we had some piss poor wr development the last few years, yes we got some players to the NFL but Hill has been horrendous, we currently don't have a WR coach, I hope they bring someone in who can develop talent. Our offense has been a painful thing to watch with Adazzio and Weiss.

We love boom for pushing players that don't show a lack of effort. Sometimes that's good for a player to be suspended if he doesn't show effort. He will either respond with attitude change or wont see the field. We can always use a scholarship who wants to play.

No. Don't expect any major production from Andre Debose, ever again, as a Gator.

Based on things Pease and Muschamp have said I'm not sure it's a matter of an inability to understand the offense or anything like that. Seems they are all but saying the guy has an enormous attitude problem. They've said on several occasions that he's not consistent in practice, he needs to do his job, he's got to show them in practice, etc.

Muschamp said twice, when referring to Debose, something along the lines of, "You've got to practice around here now." Sounds to me like the kid either has a lazy streak or an attitude problem (or both).

He won't get the opportunity to, and he shouldn't.
