A rose bowl win is just that. A rose bowl win. You can't start a poll in 1935 and award titles from the early to mid 20's. Come on

I think the point is that the meaning of bowls and post-season progress has changed and evolved over the last 100 years.

I mean, come on. 1925 isn't even in what's considered the "modern era" of college football (generally accepted to have started around 1950). You can't apply today's standards to a game which wasn't even the same almost 90 years ago, dude, and you know it.


Either way, the agenda of your posts is pretty clear.

Oh please. Washington was undefeated, and considered far and away the best team in the country. Bama was undefeated, and beat them.
