Realistic coaching choices for the Arkansas Razorbacks

I am not going to focus on current head coaches because I think we will be stuck with an up and comer.
so here is Hawgalude's break down
1. Bryan Harsin- since we will not get Chris Petersen from Boise why not hire one of his former assistants?
2. Todd Monken has SEC and NFL experience
3. Kirby Smart- works for the best coach in NCAA football - enough said
4. David Yost- developed some great QBs and knows offense. Great coach.
if we can and won't land a home run hire then anyone of those guys appear ready to take a step to the next level. It will be a risk for any coach we take on but if we can not get a top tier coach to come here. I say start anyone of those guys at a 1-2 mil salary and give them a 2-3 year contract.

Gotta put Bryles in from Baylor. I don't know if Arky would want a further dive into the spread though.

Charlie Strong is/ will be a bad decision. Do not think it will happen.
James Franklin would be a good one but I do not know how long that intensity works for seemed BP lost all that pretty quick.
Petersen, Holgs, Patterson are not coming sorry.

Go after Holgerson if you don't get him settle for Davis. I think either one of those would be excelent choices and they will noy break the bank. You can use the money saved for good assistants.
