you have to remember this is their first ever SEC game so they still have the "we're happy to be here and everyone is welcome" attitude so of course they were overly nice to UF fans.

Sorry, can't go with you on that one. A&M has long been regarded as having a very hospitable fanbase. This was hardly a one-off, glad to be in the SEC sort of thing.

Anywhere where I have to worry about walking around with a beer doesn't sound fun to me. We have no problems with that in College Station.

This.

Apart from the titty-baby College Station reviews you'll receive from horns (and possibly TX Tech & Baylor malcontents), you'll be hard-pressed to find an opposing fan base who hasn't enjoyed their experience(s) in College Station--win or lose. That sounds vain/egotistical, I know; but it's not meant to. Ags just typically take shite in stride (good Lord, have you seen the insults we receive daily?), and we tend to look at life with an, "oh, well, frick it--let's all enjoy each other's company" attitude.

Poor Aggie hospitality towards our guests is a damn serious offense. And that's not a manufactured claim. On the contrary, we very much enjoy hosting visiting fans. If an Ag is seen disrespecting a visitor to our stadium/campus/city, he/she is promptly called out.

I read a UF message board post this past week from a Gator who described his amazing time in Aggieland a couple of weeks ago; yet he concluded by saying that his positive experience made our team/fanbase "weak" and "un-SEC-like." Who knows? Maybe it does. But it's who we are. And that's not going to change.

Looking forward to hosting each of your teams for many years to come.
