Made my way down to Oxford for the first time this weekend, had a blast

My friends down there have been telling me about the grove and i figured it had to be overrated- its not, best tailgating atmosphere I've seen (I do realize that this was probably the best game to go to since Eli graduated, but still)

The square was also pretty cool, stopped by Soulshine and two other bars i can't remember the name of but all were a good time

Also Aggies- Sorry, but I enjoyed meeting all the Texas fans, the ones I meet were very nice and even though some of them looked like idiots in the cowboy gear they weren't as obnoxious as I thought they'd be

Also shoutout to USC fans- we stopped by Columbia Thursday night and had a blast downtown, went to the pub, Pavs and some strip club

Glad to hear it.

Are you taking about the Texas people that had chaps and spurs on? They were pretty nice, but kinda strange.

Did anyone happen to see the beer shower during the walk of champions?

I liked all the Texas fans I met except for the douches that walked through the Grove with the giant Texas flag wearing jorts, cut off shirts, and flatbills.

ETA: Glad you had fun bud.

I have to admit. I was really impressed with how "relaxed" the Texas fans were. They were good folks.

As with most fan bases, the ones that can afford to make the trip typically aren't the bad ones. Having been to Oxford for a game before I'm not surprised you had a good time, it is a badass college town

Glad you enjoyed it. I've been to Oxford twice, neither for games. I want to make it up for a game this year
