I'm down.

That being said, there are a lot of Aggies on places like TA that need to recognize what a bunch of dorks they can be.

I think I'll go start a Dallas vs Houston thread over in the Zoo.

I wish the handful of bozos that are obsessed with Texas would stop posting. They make the 90% of us that enjoy the rivalry with Texas, hate them because they're pussies, but don't obsess over them or base our identity off them look bad.

And stop with comparisons of stuff to Baylol. Seriously. Why acknowledge that joke of a program? Especially since nobody in the SEC gets, nor cares, what the joke is

This is way better, hence why I never registered on TexAgs (lsu student now A&M student so I was here before the jump to SEC)

texags wasn't always like that. Prior to the board hiring all of the tools (especially liucci), there was substantive discussion. About the 2005 season is when things started going downhill.

Looch has good contacts though and I think Logan Lee was a solid hire. Contributions by some of the former players and coaches is cool too.

I actually have no problem with the TexAgs content at all. Quite enjoy it actually. But the board itself is out of control. I've made countless suggestions countless times (most of them just mirror how this forum is moderated) but they've been ignored for years. frick it.

agree. Once texags started to charge for content they pretty much ran out any real discussion because if someone says anything of value they get pissy that it's "stolen."

In some cases, I know info ahead of Liucci about things (not recruiting but 12th man foundation type things) but can't say it bc it gets deleted or overrun by the zoo.

This and it seems that the people here are more knowledgable and aren't a bunch of kids that didn't pay any attention to football, started to their freshman year, and then by the end of the first season are self anointed football masters.

Same. I like TexAgs, but there is too much hyperbole, and young wide eyed 18-19 year olds that take everything way too seriously.

I mean, I don't want to act like I'm some internet purist, the amount of trolling I do on this board is obscene, but I still want serious conversation mixed in. The serious conversation on TexAgs is non-existent.

I got the perma ban from Texags. When I started posting on here I thought it was a cesspool for scum, and it really is, but I got used to it

Love interacting with SEC fans t-shirt, or alum.

Serious discussion does take place on the Premium Board. However, that board is filled with elitists, and a bunch of blind sheep. Most of them would get eaten up alive on the rant.

Lots of "board police" people on that board. Groupthink mentality would fit in nicely over there. I did my fair share of complaining and I guess one night I got really drunk and got the perma. Don't really remember what I said.

Yea, can we please not bring any of that Texags shite over here. Lets make our own inside jokes. Gosh the PJ Tucker is still dribbling one was way too fricking overused, and the fact that people were still laughing about made it even more pathetic.

This. However......

Aggies on SECr, or any place where we are out and about on the internets among non-aggies really need to pay heed to Ronald Reagan's 11th commandment a little more: Thou shalt not say bad things about other Aggies in public.

Unless they're idiots. Then destroy them.

I have been known to commit Ag on Ag violence on the rant. Players make plays. But your point makes some sense.

They tried to make an SEC conf board but it just turned into rivalries number 2 where jortsagent and 13-0 branding iron rehash the same BS 10 times a day. The only time I visited Texags was the job network and houston board. Then Andrew came in and turned the Houston board into a place for soccer moms. Everytime I go now I feel like I lose some IQ points.

I like TA, but not the attitude that it's a privilege to subscribe there. They can treat their consumers poorly.

The worst, and I mean the WORST, is the arse sniffing army that is ready to jump on anyone that question one of the anointed posters or staff.

The content is far and beyond the best out there, though.

TexAgs is still my favorite, but most of the points made above are valid. I like being able to get online and mingle with other Ags when I'm away from Texas. And the content is awesome. I don't have a frame of reference pre-Dec. of 11, though.
