He should learn from Merlins. Start red shirting to build depth.
If he doesn't start red shirting soon, he will not be able to have any depth.

You know how many true freshman played Mullen's first year? We had Banks, Boyd, Fletcher, Bumphis, Chris Smith, Heavens, and Cam Lawrence all play their first year. First year you play what you got to get as many wins as you can, then you build off of that and reshirt everything you can.

You're right. He should have red shirted everybody on the team, taken this year off, and focused on 2013.
