Actually used the search function. Pretty proud of myself. :patsselfonback:

Florida leads the way in most appearances by a school, with the Gators having been a part of the program on 34 occasions. Three other SEC schools are in the top 10 all-time in appearances as Alabama (23), LSU (19) and Tennessee (18) make the list. Saturday’s matchup will mark the eighth time that GameDay has traveled to Knoxville’s Neyland Stadium. The Florida-Tennessee game has been featured a total of seven times on both campuses.

I think Ole Miss is the only SEC school not be on Gameday. If they couldn't do the 2003 LSU game, they will NEVER go to Ole Miss.

The reason Alabama is never on Gameday is because they are usually the CBS game of the day and ESPN does not like to promote CBS games too much.

Something tells me that College Gameday will not involve an SEC team next week.

Right now, it looks like the top choices are:

Arizona at Oregon
Kansas State at Oklahoma
Clemson at Florida State
Michigan at Notre Dame

To be honest, I felt Gameday should have done the Notre Dame/Michigan State game this weekend.

Why does this not surprise me?

I am glad they are doing the Vols v Gators game, but how did they pass on ND and Mich State? Both ranked teams. Usually espn would be all up in something like that with it being the ABC night game and hyping whether Sparty could hang with the SEC.

Hey...we tried our best to get them for the LSU game in 2003. I guess the Michigan/Ohio State game was bigger.

It surprised me too. Typically Gameday tries not to have the same team twice.

The question is now.. With ESPN doing so many SEC games so far..

I figured game day would have chosen USC vs Stanford this week..

Will Nov 3rd be LSU vs Alabama or USC vs Oregon?

I think they should just make BDS the permanent Gameday set location. Even if Oregon is playing USC out west, even when Bama is on the road.

Also, save the picks for the last 10 minutes and have a hour and a half segment called "Saban Says."

I'm so excited for Texas A&M's first appearance on CBS.

Technically, A&M was on CBS back when they broadcast the Cotton Bowl. We were also on CBS during the 1989 Sun Bowl.
