That i a m missing about Tennessee? Yes i am aware of the Qb and his Receivers. Is the defense actually worth a spit? i know they will have a brand spanking new kicker which hopefully has the nerves of a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. No one is giving the gators a chance and im sure the coaches love that part but it just seems odd to me. Maybe someone could edjumacate me on their defense, oline and whatever else i may have left out..

Maybe because it's not true. Plenty of people are picking the Gators.

Not quite true. A lot of people are picking them, and most everybody thinks it'll be a close game that could go either way.

They're very good. Is the Gator defense good enough to shut them down? Bowling Green scored 14 on them, and A&M scored 17 on them with a new QB, a new offensive system and a new head coach in their first game. It's reasonable to think Tennessee can score more.

Doesn't look that good, but hard to tell this early. The question, though, is whether Florida can score enough even against a bad defense. Nobody was touting the A&M defense as all that great, but they held UF to 20. Outside of Gillislee, there's really not much to the Gator offense. Even Tennessee's mediocre defense may be able to keep the Gators from scoring a lot, which is what it might take to outgun Bray et al.
