Now I understand what that crazy branch of the base was saying when they told me “I don’t give a shite about his moral code. I want to win football games.” 24 hours ago, I would have shaken my head and not given them a second thought. But that was 24 hours ago. That was before I watched what I can only describe as the worst coaching fiasco I have ever witnessed firsthand. That was before Misery on Markham.
Let’s start with the defense. We gave up 577 yards to ULM.
You’re fired.
ULM QB Kolton Browning was 42/67 for 412 yards.
You’re fired.
It’s not like you had a 28-7 lead in the third quarter OH WAIT YOU TOTALLY frickING DID!
You’re fired.

The word
and Arkansas defense together has never come out of my mouth. I got blasted by my fellow hog fans for sub par recruiting on the defensive side of the ball. However, it should no where ever be this bad, ever. If you even looked at the physical body difference on the field it makes you wonder what the hell happened?

Its crazy how both programs petrino has left have completely fallen apart so quickly after.
Is he that great of a coach? Or is it also his tendency to leave zero depth on the defensive side of the ball?
