So you sign one of the top safety prospects in the country after winning a recruiting battle with Saban and you move him to RB?

This is like Richt moving Malcolm Mitchell to WR: short term gain, long term hit for both the program and the kid in terms of draft potential.

Backs and receivers are easy to find, Safety and Corner not so much.

Bama was out of that recruiting "battle" long, long before signing day. Tech and Florida stayed around.

I think the player moved himself.

Yes he is an elite prospect, but he isn't getting any kind of DB coaching at AU, so he might as well run the ball for them. They have no real RBs and he is a gifted young man. He may wow us.
