Why are tickets still available for Arkansas vs. Louisiana-Monroe?

Despite the amazing opportunity for "poor Arkansas delta fans" to "see the Hogs play without driving 5 hrs across the state" and "rabid Central Arkansas fans" to "support the team they love in their own backyard", tickets still remain for #8 Arkansas's game vs. Louisiana Monroe Saturday. Why doesn't everyone want to take the chance to watch this team of destiny play? Great question.
All of the whiny WMS lover excuses are out the window. No central/south Arkansas fan needs a hotel, no one needs to drive 5 hours to get to WMS, tickets are plentiful and cheap, two Heisman contenders, Hogs are ranked #8, great weather, all the excitement about the new jerseys (!!1!), tailgating is "so much better", etc etc. Yet tickets remain. When UA tries to cash the check that WMS lovers' mouths have written all offseason, the check bounces...again.
Additionally, we are in the final year of our ULM contract. A perfect opportunity for central/south Arkansas fans to come out in force and show those evil liberals in NWA that they support their team just as passionately, squandered again. The only message I get from this is that the rest of the state just isn't as passionate as they say they are. The 2000 student tickets sold out in about an hour.

I support this thread.
We found a way to appease the Central Arkansas fan base by giving them their 2nd game and not losing 2 paydays in Fayetteville. While also helping ULM boost their attendance avg.
This should be a game that LR comes out in force, because this method is how they can get those 2nd games and the campus doesn't lose out on the paydays of home games actually at home.

It's pretty fricking pathetic that we can't sell out a 55,000 seat stadium in Central Arkansas. If it is our "tradition" to not sell out a game a year in Little Rock, then it may be time to rape tradition and throw it in the basement.

Well, let's put it this way..i was on my way to St. Louis and had been driving all the way from Gulfport, MS.--so i stopped here. Only like one hotel in town and i was the only person staying there. I had to look all around the building to find the hotel lady and when i did find her, she was "putting some stuff up" in this little shed/outhouse behind the hotel

No, if everybody outside of NWA insists that games be played in Little Rock then they need to get their asses in the seats. We're already losing 15,000 tickets on average playing there.
