UT will destroy us 56-6 and we will bow in the greatness that is Bray Boy.
Well hillbillies heres a dose of reality plain & simple: whichever team RUNS for more yardage will win...and that is a stone cold fact. Now..which team do you think will run the ball over and over?
UTs one and only shot imho is to get double digit lead and then start running the ball downhill and bleed clock and force us to throw.
UF is going to be short 1 starting LBer and a cornerback who plays in the 5 man rotation....Jelani Jenkins and Cody Riggs, but we have depth galore in defensive players.
UT has explosive WRs...but can it run and how good is the defense? From watching the defense in the NC State game...defense was just ok. UT had to bring LBers a lot to create pressure...UF doesnt do much blitzing and the philosophy is we have one of the best four man DLs and they can get pressure alone.
Our OL is a strength and will pound the UT DL and keep run game downhill. Our starting RB is hurt and jury is out whether he plays. But it will be next man up. Our qb can run and his naked bootlegs can go for 20 yds +
Should be great game. This will be a game that if UF can control the line of scrimmages it will throttle UT. UTs OL is improved with James Stone, Antonio Richardson and Juwan James. Close game and if it comes to FGs...Sturgis can kick em 55 yds fairly accurately. Winner by a FG.

No. UT's shot is to score quickly, and then keep scoring quickly.

This hillbilly disagrees. Running for more yardage certainly won't hurt, but it isn't a requirement to win this game, even if it has been historically.

I'm afraid Florida isn't going to "throttle" anyone this year. Remember your coach saying that's not this team's style? Or is that an excuse for poor play? I'm just asking. I do think this game could go either way, FWIW.
