because you said that Michigan will not be outcoached by the coach that sent your team's coach into the hospital and premature retirement. you think Hoke is on that same level? if so, i guess folks in Ohio should prepare their collective anuses

Ok I'll take the bait and explain.

Greg Mattison was Meyer's DC (with Strong) when he beat up on the SEC. He is a great DC and I can realize that. Al Borges is also a hell of a coach as SEC fans have seen first hand as well.

I would put Michigan's DC and OC against Bama's head to head and feel pretty good about my chances.

Head coaches Saban is probably better, but Hoke is pretty good in his own right. The guy took Michigan from the crap they were 2 years ago to a pretty good football team last year (they shouldn't have been in a BCS game, but they were a legit top 15-20 squad)

The OC and DC are pretty important cogs to a successful staff.

Charlie Strong was the brains behind Urban Meyer's defense from 2005-2008 and Al Borges had one good year as the OC at Auburn when he had 3 first round draft picks in the backfield. Any Auburn fan will tell you that his offenses from 2005-2007 were anemic.

Florida's D was good but not great. it was Tebow that won those championships. The two championships Bama has won recently were spearheaded by a great defense.

IIRC, he was pretty successful with Cadillac, Ronnie Brown, and Jason Campbell in the backfield and McNeil at LT. Michigan doesnt have that type of talent
