SWC officials were the worst going back to forever. They were especially notorious for letting fans and players from schools officiate their own games leading to fun results. Probably one of the more famous though:
Mizzou has the "5th Down" that led to CU's NC. A&M has the "interception that wasn't" that led to Texas' first NC as this would have iced the game.
He only got both knees in by a yard or so
Big 12 officials were very "crew by crew". They had a few decent ones but then had a few where you knew you better be 2 TD's better than the other team. In the end, you have to keep on playing and not let it bother you. I remember the '10 A&M/Baylor game they had 3 TD's on one drive called back for very dubious crap and the team responded by scoring a 4th one that counted.
