This is a pretty bad argument from a good poster
Maybe he WILL lead the SEC in rushing this year, but that doesn't make him the best RB in the SEC. That's my point. I don't know what John L. Smith plans to do with your offense, but if it's more balanced than it has been, defenses will play it accordingly. And, in that case, those wide open lanes to the downfield DB's won't be there as often for Davis.

We were a running team the last half of the season in 2010...I expect 2012 to be similar but with better QB play.

We had a run/pass ratio of 48/52 in 2010. We were about as balanced as you can get. People think all we do is pass all the time but Petrino liked to pound the ball a lot almost to a fault at times.
