I would argue that at lesser schools, he was the best talent evaluator out there. At elite schools, he had the talent that would have went pro anywhere.
He has switched to the 3-4 and emphasized lbers in the recent memory.
I think cooper was a better db evaluator, while Saban was at the same time the best recruiter.
I think his lb core is > his secondary at bama

I can't disagree about our LB core. It's nasty. Milliner was the #1 DB in his class, Belue was the #1 or 2 Juco coming out last yr. The others are development DB's, like Sylve.
He took Javy though, who was here as a return guy and RB, and made him a 2nd round draft pick. There may be others out there better, but not many.
