TUSCALOOSA, Alabama -- It didn't take long for one of the world's largest gambling websites to respond to LSU's dismissal of star cornerback Tyrann Mathieu.
Once tied with LSU for the best odds to win the SEC, Alabama is now the head of the class, according to Bovada. The Crimson Tide went from having the same 11/5 odds to win the SEC as the Tigers to 2/1 favorites. LSU's odds have been adjusted to 5/2, dropping it down to the second-most likely team to win the conference.
Looking specifically at the SEC West, Alabama's odds went from 8/5 to 7/5. LSU maintained its 8/5 odds to win the division.
Arkansas' odds to win the SEC West have dropped from 4/1 to 5/1 since June 20. The Razorbacks also went from a 7/1 to 8/1 to win the entire SEC.
Georgia, though it doesn't play LSU in 2012, saw its odds to win the SEC East go up from 17/10 to 5/4. Its odds to win the entire SEC have also improved from 11/2 to 5/1.
In June, the Golden Nugget sportsbook listed LSU as two-point favorites for the Nov. 3 rematch against Alabama at Tiger Stadium. It remains to be seen whether that line will be adjusted as well.

I somehow think LSU will manage without him however I'm not surprised that folks are making a big deal out of it. The guy was a gamechanger.

Ironic considering he was the weakest part of the lsu defense during the title game.

Neither bama or lsu will win the SEC. It's Arkys turn to make a run at it.. They do it every 5 to 7 years

It was the odds from Bovada that was interesting you fricking moron. I wouldn't think that anyone would read the article for good writing, which doesn't even exist anywhere anymore. Don't get mad because AU.com, I mean al.com, didn't mention your shitty tigers in an article.
Auburn is a 25-1 favorite to win the SEC. That's too high IMO, should be 50-1.

3 actually, and they only lost by 10 to us in 06. Does that count for anything?

Bama's payout dropped, LSU stayed same. The payout for the Bama bettor dropped(decreased).
