Who are some players to look for that could put themselves in the heisman conversation?

AJ McCarron if he ups his completion % and does indeed throw for 3k yards.

If not, Lacy.

McCarron will never win it.

Never said he would win it, but he could be in the talks every Sunday on ESPN's Heismanology segment if he comes out slinging in every game like he has proven he can against UT, Aubie, and LSU.

If your team isn't winning 9 games then you don't have a dog in this hunt

Jarvis Jones has 0% chance.

Defensive players don't win unless they excell in kick/punt returns. And then it still next to never happens

Hey man, if Paul Hornug won the Heisman on a 2-8 Notre Dame squad, then anything is possible.

What about white boy Swope?

1. They dont give the Heismann for "best one-two punch".

2. Besides its going to be Hilliard/Ford/Blue/Ware/Hill

Swope won't win many awards beyond All-SEC but he'll be everybody's favorite player. He's like another coach on the field. Studies lots of film. First to practice and last to leave. Brings his lunch pale everyday. The kinda guy you want your daughter to date

Tyler Wilson - strong contender
Knile Davis - quite possible, we will see
Cobi Hamilton - not likely but mentioned here and there

Tyler might be conference MVP, certainly team MVP. He's a great leader.
